2/3 of all jabs in France today are second doses. These would be vastly more effective if they became someone else's first dose.

I'm really proud of the story @skueffner and I wrote for @TheEconomist this week with reporting from deep in the Ecuadorean Amazon. Rising demand for wind power, especially in China, led to out-of-control logging of balsa wood. It's used in turbine blades.
