13 House Republicans who are appearing at CPAC in Orlando Friday, Saturday and Sunday have active proxy voting requests with the House Clerk's office saying they can't attend votes due to the pandemic. Among the votes they will miss tonight: one on the COVID relief bill.
For over 10 days now, around half the residents of Jackson, Mississippi have not had running water.
And nobody is talking about it on a national scale.
I am begging the national media to please pay attention. There is a crisis happening in Jackson.

Refusing to increase the minimum wage is essentially a subsidy to corporations that refuse to pay workers enough to live on.
In turn, workers use public benefits to make ends meet and taxpayers end up footing the bill.
I'm sick and tired of corporations claiming otherwise.

The fact that we are about to be hit with a tidal wave of voter suppression legislation by Republican legislatures throughout the country is the most under reported story right now. The media is unequipped to cover this in clear moral terms and instead prefers to both sides it.
When asked if he would repent of his civil disobedience, Thoreau said, “If I repent of anything, it is very likely to be my good behavior. What demon possessed me that I behaved so well?” In the face of so much injustice, we all need to stop behaving so well. #MoralResistance
