@LlSTENlNG_PARTY @Tim_Burgess Saw them support Duran Duran in Edinburgh '81. Spent months going to record shops asking for the Talk Talk single to be told there was no such thing & no such band! I said... well there is & there will be! 6 months later; there it was, at last. Always listen to the support band!

#TimsTwitterListeningParty Their music grew up as I grew up but when Spirit came out I didn't "get" it. seemed like a language I couldn't understand. Then a year later on a coach to Spain, the sun came up, put it on my Walkman and it just suddenly made sense! A real epiphany!
