Technically Congresswoman Katie Porter was never removed from Financial Services Committee. She prioritized two other very important committees, House Oversight and Natural Resources. It was at her own request. She’ll be truly masterful in Oversight and Natural Resources.

Did Attorney General Barr resign in December because even Barr — with his ominous record of abetting authoritarianism and destroying our rule of law — could not stomach the abuses of power he expected Trump to try in order to stay in office, against free will of American voters?
While I’m very happy that Nancy Pelosi announced an investigation of security issues, what I *LOVED* is that she named retired Lt. Gen. Russel Honore to head it. He’s really wonderful – and livid about the security breaches – and he’ll go scorched earth over everything.
As I told a listener who called into @KQED, yesterday’s impeachment vote was not about punishment; our goal is and must be to stabilize and safeguard our democracy. The President must be held accountable for inciting an attack on America.
