The fact that Mitch McConnell can use the filibuster to prevent the majority from taking control of the Senate is a pretty good argument against the filibuster.
Why am I seeing McConnell’s name much more today than Schumer’s? Did Schumer hand McConnell the keys to the Senate?
When Republicans gain power, they abuse it.
When Democrats gain power, they share it with Republicans.

By rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement, President Biden indicates he’s more interested in the views of the citizens of Paris than in the jobs of the citizens of Pittsburgh. This agreement will do little to affect the climate and will harm the livelihoods of Americans.
So since Ted Cruz won the Texas election, this means he can only impact Texas in his role.
