324 new cases in Havana. Very concerning and likely to lead to more restrictions.

Update: appears changes have been made. Havana’s airport to remain open, public transport operates from 5am to 9pm, bars close, restaurants can only offer take out.

487 new cases and two new deaths for Cuba. Much of the surge is being driven by imported cases. When I returned to Cuba in late December I was tested at the airport. No one ever informed me of the results and no one checked to make sure I was staying at home (I was). 1/2
