Today, on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, I reaffirm my commitment to ending this epidemic. A Biden-Harris administration will take bold action here at home and rejoin global efforts to confront gender-based violence in all its forms.
@AimeeL221 @JoeBiden Was it primarily psych abuse & intimidation? I've seen judges have real difficulty making sense of those cases, esp when the abuse leads to vic developing any sort of substance or mental health issue. But having been in a relationship like that, I understand the toll they take

@JoeBiden I was abused in my same sex relationship...and in court I was mocked, belittled and then had custody of my children taken from me because my ex is former law enforcement. Our court system when it comes to DV needs an overhaul. I shouldn’t have been treated this way. No one should
