I have a weird pain issue with my feet. I’ve been noticing it since early elementary school. But because I can’t describe it without wanting to sob, I’ve never gotten help for it. I always wonder if it’ll lead to me being in a wheelchair one day 👩🏾🦽 #DisabilityHasNoAgeRequirement

i've been trying to get help with the pain of partially dislocating joints since i was a kid. but teachers/parents/etc always told me it was "growing pains" and that i was "too young to be in pain"
guess who has to get an EDS evaluation now?
I now get Remicade infusions every 6 weeks to help keep my UC in remission and manage my chronic pain. Some infusions take better than others. I still have pain but it is slightly more manageable. My UC is controlled with many medications.
